This board is soldered to the backside of the mainboard of a Philips VideoPac G7000 console. This board picks up the digitial video signal (4-bit RGBI) and serializes it to a lumacode signal. This can then be flawlessly upscaled to a pixel-perfect HDMI signal using an RGBtoHDMI device or something with equal capabilities.
Compatiblity is tested with the PAL version of this console. The NTSC variant which was mainly marketed as the "Magnavox Odyssey 2" should also work, but this is based only on theoretical considersions. It would be great if someone would want to take the risk trying it.
